Vacation, part 10: A word of encouragement, and on to the top

Thanks to the hiker or hikers who took the time to leave this message for the rest of us, and especially to those thoughtful folks who attached cables to the more treacherous spots to make the hike safer:

We did it! Now we can pause to enjoy the view from Myrtle Point.

I believe those are the Dolly Parton Peaks, named after one of the most famous natives of the Smoky Mountains. If I'm mistaken, as the old bluegrass-festival joke goes, they might be the two-bald-headed-men-sitting-close-together peaks instead.
